Orlando, FL, April 04, 2023:
During the company’s annual user conference, RLDatix’s executive team announced new and expanded offerings, enabling a more integrated approach to patient care delivery and provider management.
RLDatix hosted more than 400 customers at its annual user conference, Palooza, held March 20-23 in Orlando, Florida, and virtually. During the event, the company announced the expansion of its existing solution portfolio to include workforce management in North America and explored enterprise-level opportunities enabled by this and other recent launches, including Catalix, its Amazon Web Services-supported cloud offering, and the Peer Support application.
“The healthcare landscape has changed significantly since the pandemic’s onset, and so have the needs of our health system partners,” said RLDatix CEO Jeff Surges. “Today, they require access to integrated data that produces meaningful insights and better informs decision making from the executive level all the way to bedside care. They're not looking for departmental solutions – instead, they’re valuing an enterprise approach to ensuring safer healthcare for all.”
RLDatix’s Workforce Management Solution, new to North America and a key highlight from Palooza, offers healthcare organizations a comprehensive and proven approach to more efficient, safer nurse scheduling and staffing management. This unique solution will help address workforce staffing challenges that healthcare organizations are facing today.
Using an enterprise approach, RLDatix offers smarter, more streamlined, and safer capabilities across all aspects of governance, compliance, risk — and now — workforce management, through improved tools for strategic scheduling and comprehensive peer support to mitigate both the risk and impact of adverse events.
“In my mind, there is no way you can have a safer journey without culture that prioritizes effective resourcing, staff advocacy, and an eye toward continuous improvement,” said Barbara Staruk, RLDatix Chief Product Officer. “Our enterprise vision will give healthcare teams the power to effectively balance these priorities while better supporting their staff — and in this age of uncertainty and instability, a staff that’s supported is a staff that’s retained, ultimately creating a more sustainable organization for everyone in its care.”
In Sept. 2022, RLDatix launched Catalix, an enterprise platform that will leverage millions of data points across the company's product portfolio to provide customers with insights that help deliver safer healthcare. Peer Support, which helps combat burnout by identifying health workers who need support after experiencing a specific traumatic event or who are struggling with cumulative trauma, was announced at the same time and became the first RLDatix product made available through Catalix.
As more products and partners make the transition to the cloud, the opportunities surrounding integrated operations will help RLDatix customers unlock greater insights, functionality and flexibility across the continuum of care.
“The data pulled from RLDatix’s suite of solutions helps health systems like Henry Ford Health better understand opportunities for improvement, including grievances, and how it integrates the patient safety perspective across the entire organization, said Vanessa Mona, Vice President of Consumer Insights and Experience at Henry Ford Health. “This ultimately allows teams to highlight critical focus areas, determine both short- and long-term strategies, and priorities at an enterprise level, supporting standardization, safe practices and high reliability.”
RLDatix’s new and expanded offerings will continue to enable a more integrated approach to patient care delivery and provider management.
“Our goal is safer healthcare for all — for our patients and our workforce,” Surges said. “When we pull these factors together, it helps us all along this journey."
