Celebrating Excellence: RLDatix Awards Outstanding Achievements in Patient Safety and Innovation
Connected Healthcare Summit celebrates customers driving meaningful change in healthcare.

San Diego, March 20, 2025: The final day of the 2025 Connected Healthcare Summit was all about our customers — the healthcare leaders and teams making a real impact in patient safety, workforce support and operational excellence. RLDatix President of North America August Calhoun took the stage to express gratitude for the unwavering dedication of RLDatix customers.

Five organizations were recognized for their exceptional achievements, each receiving an award and a monetary contribution toward their patient safety initiatives.

High Reliability Organization Award: Emerson Health

Emerson Health won the High Reliability Organization Award for fostering a strong culture of safety, leading to a 277% surge in event reporting (3,445 more reports), a 25% faster response rate (85% of reports closed within 14 days) and significant reductions in CAUTI and CLABSI infections.

Supported Workforce Award: Saint Francis Health System

Saint Francis Health System received recognition for their CARE Team initiative, a peer support program designed to help healthcare workers manage secondary trauma and workplace violence. This program has been instrumental in reducing turnover (19.5% to 17.8%), boosting resilience (4.19 to 4.23, above the national average), and expanding peer supporters from 9 to nearly 50.

Regulatory Excellence Award: PeaceHealth

PeaceHealth was awarded for its exemplary leadership in regulatory compliance and patient safety, driven by the innovative use of PolicyStat and AI-powered tools. This initiative has streamlined compliance processes, reduced risks and strengthened the organization’s culture of safety. Special recognition was given to Shaina Hogan for her leadership in this space.

Innovations in Safer Care Award: Teladoc Health Inc.

Teladoc Health Inc. was recognized for their creative use of the RLDatix Feedback module, customizing it to track adherence to new treatment guidelines. Their approach demonstrates how technology can be leveraged to improve care quality and patient outcomes.

Patient Commitment Award: ChristianaCare

ChristianaCare was celebrated for their unwavering dedication to patient safety and quality improvement. Their initiative, originally submitted under Innovations in Safer Care, was reassigned due to its strong focus on patient-centered outcomes and meaningful impact on care quality.

A Look Ahead

As Summit came to a close, RLDatix reflected on the progress made and the future ahead.

"Over the past three days, we’ve seen firsthand the passion and dedication of this community to driving real change,” said Calhoun. “Your work doesn’t stop here, and neither does ours. We hope that all our attendees take what they’ve learned here and go put it into action. Together, we will continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in patient safety and healthcare excellence."

Congratulations again to our award winners—and thank you to every attendee for being part of this year’s Connected Healthcare Summit.
